Participants who joined my cooking class, they’re always surprise to see using long chopstick when I cook. Japanese use chopsticks not only during a meal but also cooking. Cooking chopsticks are referred to as Saibashi (菜箸), it’s about 30 cm long, long enough to keep your hand away from the heat when frying. Simple two sticks but can be used for picking up, stirring, mixing, whisk or tongs, multi-purpose utensils. It is convenient if you used to using chopsticks!
